YOUR CAMP …… YOUR LEGACY ……

For over sixty years, families have found a place to vacation and relax at Bambi Lake. The campground is open for guests from Memorial Day to Labor Day. A large variety of events are hosted at the camp, from family reunions, weddings, and graduation banquets to church retreats and week-long youth camps. Bambi events are scheduled on our calendar, as are many private family and church events.

Please check the events registration page to see event updates and the Bambi calendar for the latest information about available opportunities and dates for a stay at Bambi Lake.

Bambi Lake Retreat and Conference Center is a Christ-centered, family, friendly 240 acre facility with lodging for over 200 guests. We have a 25 site campground that includes four semi-rustic mini cabins and recently updated bathhouse.

We are continuing to update our general policy pages regarding day use, pets, off road and recreational vehicles, waterfront usage, student health forms, emergency contacts, and a couple others updated so that we can have a link to a printable version. Our current registration policy information is available under the “Bambi Lake Policies” heading on our events registration page.

No alcohol is permitted on the property and all of our buildings are smoke free as well. Please let us know in advance of arriving if you plan to bring a pet with you. They are not allowed in our main buildings or in the designated waterfront area. Pets are allowed in the campground area but must be confined, on a tie out, or a leash. All must be on a leash at all times when walking anywhere on the property.

We have a number of improved gravel roads around the main buildings along with unimproved woods trails. Please keep in mind that the speed limit for all vehicles on the property is 10mph. Our soil type is the typical upper Michigan sand with medium sized gravel stone. The topography is gently rolling and sloped across the majority of the developed areas, as well as the forested paths and trails. Please keep in mind that the majority of our property is fairly uneven sandy ground, especially for those in your group that may have mobility issues. We do have a covered concrete walkway that connects the Lodge and the Wilson Building - worship and dining areas. There is also a concrete walkway from the Game Room in the lodge to the wheelchair accessible fishing dock at the beach. Please register as early as possible for events if you have mobility issues or health concerns and require a handicap accessibility in your accommodations.

We have a wide variety of Bambi Lake Life produced events for all ages. Our events are created for you to be encouraged, equipped, and empowered. Click on the link above to go directly to the registration page for the events we already have scheduled. The “Events” tab in the upper right will take you to our calendar that shows most of our public as well as privately planned activities. Want to setup your own event? Please feel free to contact us by filling out the “Build Your Event” form also located on the “Events” tab. Or contact us by filling out the “Need More Info” form also located on the “About” tab above. You can also contact the office via phone or email too.
